Oven-Fried Catfish recipe


1 lb of catfish fillets.
2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
2 tablespoons of chicken broth.
½ cup of dry breadcrumbs.
¼ teaspoon of salt.
Pinch of garlic powder.
Pinch of pepper.
2 teaspoons of vegetable oil.


Preheat your oven to 450°F.

Spray a 15*10*1-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.

In a shallow dish, combine the lemon juice and chicken broth.

In another shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, salt, garlic powder and pepper.

Dip the fish fillets in liquid, then dip in the breadcrumbs mixture to coat.

Arrange the coated catfish fillets on the sprayed pan; then drizzle with vegetable oil.

Bake for about 10 minutes or until the catfish flakes easily with fork.
